About PHS

PHS is a unique and very specialized construction companies. We’re a licensed general contractor that exclusively repairs and restores damaged windows – all makes, models, and sizes. We’re based in Denver, but our regionalized crews work on major jobs across the United States.

Why is this specialization important?

We’re not a window company.

 

PHS doesn’t represent any window companies or sell windows. We won’t try to convince you to spend more money on window replacements that may not even match the rest of your house.

We’ve seen it all.

 

PHS window technicians are very familiar with all window brands – from the major brands to the specialty lines. We know the unique parts, systems, and engineering in each.

Windows are complex.

 

Window repair is an art. Our technicians know how to repair damaged windows so they look and function like new.

History of PHS

We started PHS in 2007 as a full-service general contractor. Over time, we began working exclusively on residential exterior renovations. In 2015 we chose to specialize further and focus on window restorations in conjunction with our sister company, AccuWin, a premier window restoration estimating company.

 

Too often, insurance adjustors provide window repair settlements and then walk away – leaving it to the homeowner to find someone to do the job for that price. And when an AccuWin estimator provides a realistic, thorough cost estimate for repairs, the next question from either the insurance company or the homeowner is inevitably, “Can you do the work for that price?”

 

At PHS, we saw the value in being that uniquely qualified window restoration company that will stand behind AccuWin’s repair cost estimates. We’ll also manage window replacement work if the insurance company determines that’s the appropriate resolution.

Our Team

Len Severson, Vice President of Operations

Len has more than 20 years of experience at both the sales and executive level with building products and installation companies in the western United States. Len actively oversees our production processes, quality control standards, and strategic growth initiatives.

Gordon Schrag, Partner

Before joining our team, Gordon worked with a national interior design company for more than 20 years, beginning as a Customer Service Manager and ultimately serving as Vice President of the Rocky Mountain Region. At PHS, Gordon oversees all aspects of our operations and project management activity.

Kelly Lively, Partner

After several years of working with a custom home builder post-college, Kelly earned his General Contractor’s license and formed Professional Home Solutions (PHS), which at the time specialized in whole-house remodeling. Now, with our company’s focus on window restoration, Kelly’s role is to organize and coordinate our projects across the United States.

Bill Suter, Estimating

Following graduation from college, Bill served as a Project Manager for an insurance restoration company in Virginia, handling both interior and exterior structural claims. In 2018, he moved to Colorado and joined our team, where he’s responsible for ordering and managing all the materials needed for our window restoration projects.

Jake Finley, Claims Representative

With his Business Degree from the University of Colorado, Jake joined our team in early 2019 to serve as our onsite job manager – overseeing the work of our subcontractors and providing onsite coordination with our customers.

Janelle Severson, Office Manager

Before joining PHS, Janelle had nearly 20 years of experience in high-level retail operations management. She’s taken those skills to PHS where, since mid-2019, Janelle has been responsible for project scheduling, materials management, and off-site job management.
